Hi - I'm Tim, thanks for visiting my site.

I graduated from The Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in industrial design. During my time at SCAD, I had the opportunity to work on real world projects with a team of students focusing on designing outdoor equipment for Remington Arms. Working on real projects with customers, deadlines and other team members was a hugely valuable experience in addition to excellent ID fundamentals I learned at SCAD.

My previous position was an industrial designer at Tilite, a wheelchair company that specializes in titanium and carbon fiber mobility products. I have been involved in a range of different projects that have required different disciplines in the design process. Working at Tilite has taught me how to efficiently communicate with overseas vendors as well as create more aesthetically pleasing products with a reduced cost to the company.

I enjoy working on projects that serve a practical, real-world purpose and that make people's lives easier but I also love to create a fun experience for simple, everyday tasks. I love working with physical prototypes and have fabricated many projects inside of school and in my free time.

Outside of industrial design my passion is competitive powerlifting where I hold a Washington state bench press record and a national bench press record. This hobby has helped me learn a great deal about bio mechanics which is useful in ergonomic design.
